Privacy notice

Together is a small prelaunch site: a place to send a request for help and to say how you can help. This notice explains what we collect when you use it, why we collect it, and what we do — and don't do — with it. It covers this prelaunch only.

What we collect

When you send a request or offer to help, we collect:

• Your contact information — your email address and your phone number.
• Request details — the goal you're working toward, what you're asking for, the barrier or situation around it, your proof of effort or explanation of what you've already tried, and the location fields on the form.
• Contributor details — what you say you can help with, and any optional notes you add.
• Evidence documents — anything you choose to attach to a request. These are optional.
• Attribution data — how you found us: the source, UTM parameters, the referrer, and the landing path.
• A little technical data, for abuse prevention only — a hashed IP address and a short summary of your browser's user-agent.

How we use it

Your information is used only for the prelaunch itself:

• Founder review of requests — a person reads what you send and decides what to do next.
• Beta coordination — reaching you about the first beta when your request or offer is relevant.
• Manual matching of contributors to requests — the founder pairs people by hand. There is no automatic matching.
• Anti-abuse and spam protection — keeping submissions and the site clean.

What we never expose or sell

We never publish any of the following, and it never appears on a public page or a public list:

• your email address or phone number;
• your request text and any private notes on it;
• evidence documents you attach;
• your exact location;
• founder notes, our internal classifications, and abuse signals.

We do not sell personal data — not your contact details, not your request, not anything else.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as the prelaunch and beta review, coordination, and our operational history require. There is no fixed retention period attached to it. If you ask us to delete your records and we can verify the request, we delete them.

How we protect it

• Your submissions travel over HTTPS.
• Only the founder can access submissions — there is no public or team-wide access.
• Evidence documents are stored privately, not at links anyone can share.

That is what we actually do, in plain terms.

Your rights

This notice is aligned with the Nigeria Data Protection Act. Under it you can:

• Access — ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• Correction — ask us to fix personal information that is wrong or out of date;
• Deletion — ask us to delete your personal information from our records.

To make any of these requests, reply to a message you receive from Together about your submission. A person reads it and handles it. Requests are worked through by hand during the prelaunch — there is no self-serve download or deletion portal.
